Malaysian law firm Adnan Sundra & Low has bulked up its general civil and commercial litigation practice with the appointment of Saresh Mahendaren as a partner.
Mahendaren previously worked at Shearn Delamore & Co, where he served as a senior associate for more than a year. Before that, he spent two years at Christopher & Lee Ong, the Malaysian member firm of?? Rajah &? Tann Asia.
His practice covers a broad range of disputes, including contractual, employment, construction, restructuring and insolvency, shareholder, land and other civil, commercial and corporate issues. He also handles white-collar criminal matters.
“Saresh’s appointment reflects the firm’s continued focus on strengthening our general civil and commercial litigation practice. He will work closely with our head of litigation, Sudharsanan Thillainathan, and the wider litigation team, enhancing our ability to support clients across a broad range of contentious matters,” joint managing partner Putri Norlisa Najib told Asia Business Law Journal.
“The appointment is therefore very much about complementing and further strengthening the existing team under Sudharsanan’s leadership.”
