Hong Kong legal teams played a crucial role in enabling Goodbaby, a leading supplier of baby strollers in China, to acquire Cybex, a German-based stroller manufacturer, for €70.7 million (US$97.1 million), Antony Walsh, a London-based partner at Eversheds, told China Business Law Journal.
¡°Although the deal involved a German target company and English law governing documentation, the support provided by Hong Kong counsel on both sides was … crucial to achieving a successful and timely completion,¡± Walsh said.
