DHH Law Firm has opened its Mexico branch, comprising two offices and expanding its cross-border legal services network across North America and Latin America.
The law firm operates from two locations, with its headquarters in Monterrey and an office in Mexico City, under a single legal entity. The offices were established jointly by DHH and local firm Gonzalez Rodriguez Abogados (GRA).
The managing partners are Luis González Sanchez and Hector Rodriguez Ramirez, who previously served as head of the transactional and corporate practice and head of the litigation practice, respectively, at GRA.

González Sanchez told China Business Law Journal: “Our Mexico practice centres on cross-border corporate structuring, foreign direct investment, M&A and international tax planning, with compliance and labour law as core complements, plus arbitration and litigation across different matters.
“Our clients are primarily international manufacturers and investors entering Mexico, largely nearshoring-driven, as well as Mexican companies. We act as the legal bridge for the lifecycle: entry, operations, and cross-border transactions.”
González Sanchez specialises in corporate law, M&A, tax and foreign investment.
Rodriguez Ramirez said: “Chinese clients currently require strong support in foreign investment, corporate compliance, labour, tax, customs, commercial contracts, and dispute resolution. Mexican companies doing business with China increasingly seek trade and transaction advice.”
Nearshoring, supply-chain restructuring, intellectual property, regulatory compliance and international arbitration would be the practice areas of greatest growth during the next three to five years, he said.
“By combining our Monterrey and Mexico City presence with DHH’s international network, we aim to support investment throughout the region, strengthen cross-border capabilities and build a lasting legal corridor between China, Mexico and Latin America,” said Rodriguez Ramirez.
He focuses on litigation, constitutional remedies, compliance and anti-money laundering matters.
The Mexico offices add to DHH’s established overseas footprint in locations including the US, Canada, Australia, Singapore and Japan.
