Squire Patton Boggs has bulked up its litigation practice group in Perth with the addition of partner Scott Crabb, who joins from Australian law firm Clayton Utz, where he spent 28 years.

Crabb brings more than 30 years of experience in complex and large-scale commercial litigation, international and multi-jurisdictional disputes, arbitration, regulatory investigations and crisis management.

Crabb also advises on statutory interpretation, contracting, IP, competition and trade practices, media, distribution, marketing and advertising, and governance and compliance.

“Scott is a veteran disputes lawyer and has a strong profile in the market. His hiring will add depth to our litigation team in Australia, particularly in mining, energy and healthcare. These are the three areas of growth for us,” Tony Chong, managing partner of Squire Patton Boggs’ Perth office, told Asia Business Law Journal.
