Clyde & Co has beefed up its commercial disputes and international arbitration offering in Australia with the appointment of Andrew Pullinger as a partner at the Perth office.

Pullinger arrives at the firm after more than 12 years at Campbells, during which he served as a senior associate, partner and consultant.

He advises clients on complex litigation, international arbitration and dispute resolution matters across the infrastructure, energy and resources, financial services and professional services sectors. His expertise also covers local and cross-border disputes, fraud and asset recovery, and shareholder matters.

“Andrew’s appointment reflects both strong client demand and the increasingly complex risk environment our clients face. Our clients are navigating a broader range of challenges, including regulatory scrutiny, investigations, employment issues, commercial disputes and cross-border matters and they are seeking advisers with deep sector expertise and the ability to provide seamless support across jurisdictions,” Rebecca Kelly, Clyde & Co’s Australia managing partner, told Asia Business Law Journal.

“Our growth strategy is focused on building excellence in the areas our clients tell us matter most, particularly corporate, employment, insurance and disputes.”

Pullinger will join a team of nearly 50 disputes lawyers in Australia and Clyde & Co’s wider regional disputes practice, which comprises 35 partners and 100 lawyers across the Asia-Pacific region.
