Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), Hogan Lovells Cadwalader and S&R Associates have counselled on the USD115 million initial public offering of Lohia Corp, a global textile machinery manufacturer, on the NSE and BSE in India on 30 July 2026.

The CAM transaction team, led by partner Abhiroop Lahiri, acted as company counsel. Associates Aakash Rao, Arnab Roy, Vatsala Parashar, Shvabh Chakarwarti and Sanskar Modi provided support.

“Lohia Corp has an inspiring story – starting in the 80s selling circular looms and evolving as global manufacturers of equipment that powers key industrial applications,” said Lahiri from CAM.

“We partnered with an experienced and professional senior management team that was hands-on and committed on all fronts to the listing process.

“Listing a hive-off demerged business came with its set of nuances. The deal team worked collaboratively to ensure that the right disclosures and financials of the relatively new list were appropriately presented in the offer documents.”

CAM also represented certain promoters and promoter group members in a pre-IPO secondary sale ahead of the IPO. Partner Ravi Shah led this transaction team, with support from principal associate Bhakti Madan and senior associate designate Vidhi Shah.

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader acted as international counsel to the underwriters, Equirus Capital and Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors.

Biswajit Chatterjee, head of the India practice and Dubai office managing partner, led the Hogan Lovells team, with support from counsel Kaustubh George, senior associate Suchisubhra Sarkar and associate Sanjana Ravjiani.

S&R Associates partners Jitesh Shahani and Shiv Bhargava led the team, providing counsel on India law for the bookrunning lead managers. Associates Yashvardhan Singh, Monisa Mohanty, Sankalp Dubey and Sarakshie Sonawane provided assistance.
