Moitreyee Banerjee will bring more than 15 years of banking and finance experience to the DSK Legal UAE team as a consultant at the firm’s Abu Dhabi office.
Banerjee’s practice focuses on advising leading banks, financial institutions and corporates on external commercial borrowings, corporate lending, real estate financing, structured credit, aviation finance, regulatory matters, and stressed assets and corporate insolvency resolution.
She has worked in the India-Middle East corridor, combining transactional expertise with commercially focused advisory insight in cross-border and domestic deals.
Banerjee has worked across leading law firms and in-house legal teams. Prior to joining DSK Legal UAE, she was assistant vice president in the corporate legal group at IndusInd Bank, where she led legal functions for domestic transactions and cross-border lending and debt restructuring transactions originating from the Middle East and Southeast Asia. She also contributed to the bank’s London interbank offered rate transition task force.
Earlier in her career, Banerjee practised with the banking and finance team at AZB & Partners in Mumbai, and with Clifford Chance across its Singapore, London and Gurgaon offices.
