Meera Murali and Simant Satapathy have been elevated to associate partner at Phoenix Legal.
Murali, based at the New Delhi office, has been promoted in the insolvency and restructuring practice. She advises and represents a diverse range of domestic and international clients on insolvency and restructuring matters.
Her clients include leading financial institutions, companies and conglomerates, committees of creditors, resolution professionals, liquidators, bidders and resolution applicants.
Murali’s practice encompasses strategic advisory as well as complex dispute resolution across all aspects of the corporate insolvency resolution and liquidation processes.
Satapathy’s practice focuses on banking and finance, debt capital markets and structured finance. Based in Mumbai, he advises a broad range of Indian and international banks, financial institutions, investors and companies.
His experience spans a wide range of financing transactions, including cross-border financing, commercial real estate financing, structured finance, securitisation, overseas direct investment facilities, project finance and acquisition financing.
