Anubhav Mehta has joined Desai & Diwanji as a partner in its banking and finance practice, strengthening the firm’s capabilities in this sector.
With 17 years of experience across leading financial institutions and in-house roles, Mehta has extensive expertise across traditional banking, digital financial services, fintech and emerging financial products.
Prior to joining Desai & Diwanji, Mehta worked with JP Morgan, Standard Chartered Bank and ICICI Bank, advising on a broad range of banking and financial services matters.
His experience includes corporate finance, real estate finance, trade finance, escrow arrangements, domestic and cross-border custody services, securities lending and borrowing, digital banking and cards, as well as the distribution of third-party products through online and offline channels.
Mehta has also advised on emerging areas including payment aggregator services, digital lending, digital lockers and card tokenisation. His experience spans the intersection of financial services, technology and regulation, including working closely with financial institutions and other stakeholders on developing new financial products and establishing governance frameworks around them.
