Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu gives corporate and M&A team a boost with the addition of Atsushi Nishitani as a partner in Tokyo.
Nishitani joins from Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, where he spent more than 11 years, including nine as a partner. He began his legal career at Dojima Law Office in 2002 before moving to Bingham Sakai Mimura Aizawa, which later integrated with Anderson Mori & Tomotsune in 2015, bringing Nishitani across as part of a group of 45 lawyers.
Dual-qualified in Japan and New York, Nishitani specialises in crisis management, M&A, corporate governance, general corporate matters, and restructuring and insolvency.
