Jeanette Chan has joined Airwallex as chief compliance officer and general counsel. Prior to Airwallex, Jeanette was the managing partner of the China practice at Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, and head of the firm’s Asia communications and technology practice.
Airwallex is a fintech company focusing on cross-border payment and backed by Tencent, Sequoia China and other investors, with a valuation of more than US$1 billion.
