Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer (HSF Kramer) guides Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison on its partnership with Ooredoo Group, Nokia and NVIDIA to build one of Southeast Asia’s largest AI infrastructure platforms in Indonesia.

Indosat said the initiative, known as Zankore by Indosat, was intended to address Asia-Pacific’s rapidly increasing need for secure, scalable AI computing and strengthen Indonesia’s role as a regional hub.

HSF Kramer said Zankore by Indosat would use NVIDIA DSX, a reference architecture, platform and ecosystem framework that integrated accelerated computing, networking, power, cooling and operations into a single system designed to maximise AI output.

The global law firm’s team was led by Asia head of M&A Malika Chandrasegaran and partner Matthew Goerke. They were supported by senior associates Mark Khouri and Kenji Lee.

Indosat said Zankore by Indosat was expected to provide around 200 megawatts of AI capacity in the first half of 2027, powered by NVIDIA GB300 NVL72. The NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 is a liquid-cooled rack scale supercomputing platform.

The company said its collaboration with Ooredoo Group, Nokia and NVIDIA was intended to create next-generation AI infrastructure for a global market, with the Asia-Pacific region serving as the launchpad.
